Throughout the week, businesses will be hosting events that bring you great beer and educate everyone on the versitility of this tasty beverage.
What makes CBW unique?
As opposed to beer weeks in other cities, the primary focus of CBW will revolve around the great pairings of beer and food. Yes, we’ll have spectacular beer specials throughout bars in Colorado, but every establishment will also be pairing world-class food with those beers. Whether it is an elegant six course dinner or a special item pairing on the menu, food will play a vital role in our events. The other great aspect of CBW is that we aren’t just limiting our events to Denver. We’ll be hosting events in great beer drinking cities throughout the state. And just so there is no confusion, CBW is not just a beer festival like the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). We are specializing in beer and food events at local establishments, not just one ounce samples at a beer hall.
Where can I buy tickets for CBW events?
The best place to buy tickets for CBW events is right here at cobeerweek.com. Once we have our events listed, you’ll be able to purchase tickets directly from our EVENTS PAGE. You can also go to participating locations and inquire if they are selling tickets at the door. Some of our events are able to do this, while others aren’t.
Can I get my local bar/restaurant/brewery involved?
Of course you can! Although we are only able to host a certain number of events every year, we would be more than happy to talk to any establishment that would like to be involved. Have a decision maker send us an email at CONTACT US and we’ll get the talks started.
Is CBW held at the same time every year?
Eventually CBW will be held the same week every year, but as of right now, we have announced our 2012 dates, May 11-19. Don’t worry, no matter when we have the event we’ll always have great events and great deals on beer.
Are there other events away from bars?
CBW is always looking to expand it’s events. In the future we are looking at hosting educational brewing seminars and cooking classes (with beer of course) at local culinary schools, breweries and restaurants. If you have a suggestion CONTACT US and we’ll see what we can do!
